Tropical swing is the typical thing in Hawaiʻi

Tropical swing is anything else but new

 

Picture a hula girl swaying

Picture a beautiful moon

Picture an orchestra playing, an old Hawaiian tune

 

Melody fair will never be rare in Hawaiʻi

Strange as it seems, melodious dreams come true

 

The mainland's insane now

About that brand new thing

From Hawaiʻi, the original land of swing
